Post by zeus2in » Mon Mar 03, 2008 4:15 am

Hi, anybody know how to disassemble an Astra model 3000 handgun. Checked out the link for the users manual but i'm not in a position or location to buy it. Any help or links will be appreciated.

Maybe penpusher ( a member here) could assist you, he also owns an Astra pistol. The best thing would be to gather the informatiom or manual and then have a gun smith or an experienced person work with the gun.

Important-Remove the magazine and check that the pistol is empty. It has a chamber loaded indicator, but it never hurts to check that the pistol is unloaded.

Cock the pistol.Depress the barrel sleeve and turn the barrel lock till the lock and sleeve come off the slide.Be careful and do not allow the lock and sleeve to fly off.Remove the spring.Pull the slide rearwards and allign the notch on the slide and frame (this is on the right side of the pistol).Turn the barrel clock wise. The slide and barrel will now come off the frame.Assembly is in reverse.
