modification to my IHP

Post by archer » Tue Jun 24, 2008 2:23 am

hey,

last couple of weeks i had nothing much to do. decided to work on my old IHP. Inspired by Mack The Knife sir's and sanjiv's work, i tried my hand at stippling.

first i marked out the area i wanted to work on

here is the pic after abt an hour with my swiss knife....

after 1 coat of varnish

after 2 coats of varnish

I also added a scope to it. its a cheap 4X20 walther scope. cost me abt 400INR from singapore.

It shoots well at distances of abt 20m. havent been able to test due to the rains. Will do it at the earliest.

please give me your suggesstions and feedback

thanx
regards
Parag

Good fun, isn't it?

Any particular reason for not removing the masking tape before the first coat of varnish?

nice work archer.i had to do the pistol grip again since i had missed the thumb rest and also thought of adding stippling to the required areas.
what did u use to stiple the grip of your rifle.i had gone Rusty's way this time and not sand stippling, used a tool from the swiss knife, dont know what else that is used for but found it works great for stippling.
cheers sanjiv
