The first looks like a Hopper feed chute (Top View) of a Japanese Taisho 11 Light Machine gun...

Lower one looks like an adapter for a small rimmed round... :)

Well, at first I'd say it's a 7.62x51 drilled out to take a .32 S&W. a home made adapter. But the case neck looks to big, looks like a .358 Winchester instead of a .308. The other, some kind of hopper feed, though I don't think it's off the Japanese M.G. Been many years since I looked at one of those. Cheers.

May be a hopper feed for a large caliber gun... but the size of the locking latch points towards a rifle bore sized apparatus.

...or may be some belt linking machine...

Yup! CC got it right.. Its a bren magazine loader circa WW-2. rimmed 303 rounds were a hassle to load by hand as one had to be careful that the rims lapped correctly to avoid loading jams. Thus the auto magazine loader.

The second pic is also of WW-2 era. It's a targetting round originally designed by the British for an anti-armour rocket. There was an automatic rifle with five rounds mounted parallel to the bore. You fired the sighting rounds until you hit the target, then fired the rocket. The one sticking out the back was based on the .22 Hornet case.
