Hmm... a wild pig???

or is it a friend of one of the boys standing around the python in the picture?

Ok.. here's the answer. Vikram is right!

Its a man who got drunk in a forest. This IS a grisly photo and it's from a Indian Wildlife conservation Forum I belong to... One common comment from most of the members was about "The unnecessary killing of the python"!! @#&$$ Is it just me? or... I would like to have some comments form members of this forum!

Well, left to me, I would have tried to identify what the python had for dinner without killing it with the help of a vet surgeon who could have easily done both.... maybe even removed the body carefully and stitched the serpent back and let it go after a couple of days of care....

Probably the people in this region of Reticulated Python don't know the fact that if disturbed persistently long enough, the Python regurgitates its meal in order to make good it's escape. No need for a Vet or a Naturalist. I wonder who deserved death. The one in it's natural habitat or the invader.

I'd go with Olly's take on this, one life has been lost already, why take another, if there had been a chance of saving the guy, save him by any means. But he's already dead, so why kill the python ?

 I think the python would have a tough time throwing up a full sized guy.

Hello everybody,
The reason i asked whether jonah pach had seen the snake was that pictures were disputed by some on the grounds that the snake had apparently swallowed the man feet first, a thing snakes donot do, they always eat head first. I had seen these pictures some 6 months back. as it is not clearly discernible whether the snake had eaten him head first or feet first.
