Dear Sir,
The gun's really good for me as a beginner. However, the problem remains the same, How to get my hands on it without getting the membership. May be if some member here can be kind enough let me use his/her membership for import (of course the payments shall be made by me directly to the website and reasonable facilitation charges to the member, if he/she so desires).
Lets see, if someone finds this workable then please do PM me so that we can work out the modalities

seems like Afgani people have a lot of shooting practice for last 50 years.
If you are serious about shooting go for serious rifle, it is more costly but you will not have to by rifle twice. Some times ago I was in same situation considering which rifle to buy and on advice of Shimon I got Walther LG300xt alutech with new regulator, 600 shots per fill, same rifle with which Gagan Narang shot world record. that cost me about 1.2LK and yesterday my wife got gold medal with this rifle in state competition. Contact Shimon and he can help you definitely.

Wisely said, They have been shooting everything in sight for the last 50 years be it russian tanks, armoured vehicles or paidal sena. In fact as told to me russian army were so scared of the gorilla warfare led by Ahmad Shah Masood that they never took the roads without a convoy of at leat 100 tanks. Then too the Afghanis succeeded in sending them out. Actually the line on which I was working passed on top of Salang pass. This place has been the place of battle through out the history of Afghan Vs Russian war. I have seen live RPGs, Explosive heads, live land mines, and mother of all a air plane dropped full size bomb (did not gathered the courage to go too near to se the make) which did not go off, just lying there.
Do accept my gratitude for your valuable advice. Actually I started the intro with my intention to buy a FWB-700 Alu. I thought that Walthers were even more costlier than FWBs. But not I will have my friend check rates of both before buying. I take it that Mr. Shimon is a member of this forum and I shall definitely contact him as per your advice.
