Hello everybody,
I am a newbie both to shooting and IFG, im from Madurai,TamilNadu. I've been interested in shooting for a while now,when i wanted to find more info abt the sport i found this forum, i would like to present the things i know (which is close to nothing) and would like some assistance.This is gonna be kinda long so please bear with me.
THINGS I WOULD LIKE YOU TO KNOW:
1.I am in Madurai,TamiNadu.
2.The rifle club here is less expensive in terms of membership compared to Chennai or any other major city. (somewhere around 1500/ annually- i think)
THINGS I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW:
1.where do i start ? what i mean by this is, im close to zero when it comes to types of rifles (ye, i want to try rifle not a pistol) and i need the basics which will help know what is what at least at a grass root level.I hear there are many types of rifle like air rifle,etc......what is each type for and what is the difference between them.
2.What would be the cost of those rifles and what is recommended for a beginner like me.
3.The range here is open on Sunday for approximately 3-4 hrs, so what kind of expense am i looking at for the ammo.
4.I haven't yet asked about the coach, how does it work? ie (forgive my ignorance and rudeness) where do i find a good one or does the club have one.
5.Is there anybody here (in IFG) i could contact in person and get more details about the way Madurai rifle club works and the procedures there.
