Hello all of my friends. Let me introduce myself. I am an Engineer by profession & am from Orissa. I have been going through all those posts from some amazingly knowledgable friends for some time. Sorry to introduce me so late though I got myself registered two months back. I have been a gun addict from my childhood. From catapult to guns I graduated slowly. I was very proficient in catapult as my friends used to praise in my boyhood days. Anyway I will narrate all those beautiful unforgetting bygone days which will never come back. I have a 12g Manton, selective ejecter,25 inch, silver inlaid & engravings, .22 IOF rifle 2000 model. My father has a Theate Ferres Liege Belgian 12g. As usual for a gun lover I have a fascination for knives & flash lights. I am not so conservant with computers & also I get very little time to sit before it as basically I am a field man. So I think you will excuse me if I post/reply irregularly which may not happen. Thanks a lot my friends.

Yes brother. I have a lot of field experience. Sitting inside my camp offices I can differentiate calls of almost all available bird species. It is of immense pleasure to listen quietely the sing/chirp/mating call of the birds. With so much interest I have marked all those beautiful birds from my capult/boyhood days that sometimes I wonder how people are unable to know the species ... Forget about asking to differentiate between genders.
Even most people do not know that a male cuckoo(koel) is black & the female one is slightly spotted & dull grey in colour.
