Welcome aboard. A few more details about the kind of weapon you are looking for could help members guide you. Your arms license could be for a shotgun, rifle, handgun......

Welcome to the Forum, Fameen Shaikh,
What is your budget, also what Caliber Pistol are you looking to purchase.
.32 ACP is the most common Bore, available in India.
Pistol will be more expensive than a Revolver.
It will be cheaper to buy directly from a owner, but such sellers are very few and difficult to track.
If you are in good terms with the Licence Issuing Authority, they sometimes can lead you directly to a Private Seller.
However, You will get far more variety in a good Gun Shop.
Price of Hand Guns vary in different States, within India.

Regards,
Jr.
