I believe there is a good market for guns in Punjab. My query was aimed at a S&W 500 that would give a good return. If some one imports a hand gun on TR and gets permission to sell it (not easy. besides he will have to give an affidavit that he will never apply for an Arms License in his lifetime). Which is that one gun that would give maximum returns in Punjab. Second option would probably be Mumbai.

Hello Vineet, seems like you have cut your teeth in gun metal well i have a 7.62mm pistol foreign make and was wondering how much should it be worth? Would be great to hear your inputs... thanks and wish you all the best with your armoury!!

7.62 pistol is priced in between 5 to 7 lacs. Given that it's original and not Daara made as there are many darra made floating around.

Daara made go for around 2 to 3 lacs (those registered on license).

7.62 cartridges have become quite expensive in past couple of years. They are available for around Rs. 350 to 400 a pop.
