Just got a document from a group wherein it mentions the Government is allowing 2 weapons instead of 1. (Club members will get an extra) Please verify..

Let's do something as it has sentimental impact on genuine gun lovers. At the end of it we pay huge amount to govt exchequer in order to keep possessing them.

The indiatoday feed (https://www.indiatoday.in/india/story/p ... 2-09#50144) says that the bill removes semi-automatic weapons from public domain. Wasn't that kind of already in effect? Also, will this apply to the 2016 amendment that made semi-auto shotguns permissible?

Though m new in this field . I strongly oppose this Amendment . The application of different types of Fire Arms are different. Hope Govt should review their Arms Act Amndt 2019.

So, will the govt pay for all those weapons that will be deposited with them? If so, then how much? I am guessing they will offer what they think is fair, if at all?

Does anyone have the copy of the Arms Amendment (including the exemption for sports shooters)? It is still not yet clear the number of weapons exempted and criteria of Sports Shooters.
