Great initiative Varunik,
Best wishes,
I also belong to Noida, But sadly only on paper till date.
Bought a flat in greater noida 2 years back, but that flat and that high rise building is only on paper till date.
I hope you understand. :( :(
But,I am confident that it will be real for sure soon and so will be your dream project.

Once again all the best.

Any ideas for the logo? :)

I have this sample logo.

Please feel free to give any suggestions or point out mistakes.

Feel free to modify this to make it beeter, or come up with an entirely new logo!

Features of this logo :-

1. It's particular shape will look good and royal. It'll look great on blazer pockets.
2. With a sadabahar 2 rifles, it has a pistol and revolver too.
3. Gautam Budhh Nagar Gate (near sector 15-A) has been sketched to depict belongingness to GBN.
4. The olive stem symbolising peace.
5. The upper banner says " Gautam Budhh Nagar Rifle Association"
6. The bottom banner says "Noida- Gr. Noida- Dadri"
(please do tell, is Jewar also an important place in GBN)
7. The GBN map has been outlined in the middle of bottom banner ( though it looks like Italy :P)

I might make a digital colored version of the logo you posted, for me I like to separate religious signs and statues from any society not related to religion. In India who knows, who might get pissed seeing Buddha in logo of a gun club? I think the map is not important since 90% of the people won't recognize it anyway.
How about placing a target paper in place of Buddha statue, or suggest something else. I have no objection with drawing Buddha statue in the middle though.
What the rifles should be? M1 Garand and M14 or Lee Enfield and Mosin Nagant or Mauser 98k? What about the pistols?
Beretta 92FS and Colt SAA? What do you suggest?
PM me your phone number, I'll call you.
When I'll get to shoot a gun?

How about those french berthier rifles?

And I dont see any problem with the Budhha, as we are associatied to it. Would like to hear from other members as well. We can put a Ashoka Chakra too.. And a target instead of map.

Varunik,
i agree with Priyan, i would'nt suggest placing Buddha in the LOGO, here in India we see, politically
motivated people getting pissed off at small things all the time mate, specially in U.P, where politically
motivated goons think ""VIOLENCE IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS'''.
Trust me you don't want to get stuck in controversies' even before you get started.

Good Luck mate,
Cheers
Sam singh.

Rifles look bit of obsolete pattern or outdated in the logo. How about including some modern rifles instead? Like AK 47 or something similar.
