They say they'll bulk import Arms of all categories.

So is it for 10m AR/AP only or literally ALL CATEGORIES?!

So can one now import pistols/rifles/shotguns?!

And, after 15 June, any idea, when will NRAI bulk import arms?

It is now upto us.
Today i had gone to the nrai office. Even a few of the office staff did not know about the notification.
I would suggest that people now start bombarding their state/rifle association to send in requests to the nrai for what they want.
Otherwise this might fizzle out.

Get in touch with your rigfle association. Tell them, if they dont know about this circular, and ask them what are they planning in importing. Get in touch with other members and ask them to call up too.

This means that now NRAI affiliated clubs and State associations can import the firearms not an individual.

The State Rifle Associations, District Clubs or any other entity will need a arms licence of the following types:

1. Licence to possess fire arms, here the club/association will not be able to sale, but the members will be able to use the same on range.

2. Licence to sale and purchase fire arms/ammunition, i.e. arms dealer licence in Form XII, then only will they be able to sale to members.

In past, MP State Rifle Association, and some District Rife Associations in MP were offered a quota of .22 Rifles.

State Rifle Association could not lift any weapon, since till today they don't have a licence to possess fire arms.

Only one Rifle Club ( a private one run by an educational institution was able to lift .22 rifle) since they had a licence in the name of club.

Moreover, even to deal in air rifles/pistols the association will have to be a registered dealer with the Commercial Tax Dept. of their respective State.
