Jeff Cooper advocated four basic rules of gun safety:
1) All guns are always loaded. Even if they are not, treat them as if they are.
2) Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3) Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target.
4) Identify your target, and what is behind it.

I'm from vizag city, we dont have any kind of shoting clubs in here. But making it a weekend activity in groups can be had at secluded spots like kambalkonda or similar. as of now a couple of my friends go out for plinking on weekends.
I carry a gun because I can't carry a cop or throw a rock at 1200 fps.

For those who might be interested, I along with a group
of other interested members are planning to revive the
old vizagapatam rifle club, and it would be finalised by
the month end. The rifle club was more than 50yrs old
and has not been functioning since more than 20yrs.
please call me for more details on saturday/sunday
27th/28th to know more details.

Hi Dr Sanjeev what is the status of your rifle club, is it functioning. I am planning to visit Vizag in March for few weeks and it would be great if its open for practice.
