Nothing wrong in address & ex-mp (Sh. Narayan Singh Rana) is president of USRA also father of Mr. Jaspal Rana, actually only firing range in dehradun & near run from "RISS" paundha majhaun not bidholi.

AFAIK no other firings range available in dun.

Contact in "RISS" & tell him you want membership of USRA & believe me you got it easily

There is nothing like the USRA-the RISS is functional and i ve acquired a membership from there-Rs 5000 and Rs 10,000 for annual/life-so thats the scene-RISS is notorious for poor tele connectivity hence personal visit is the only answer.

thanks .... what is wrong with our government !! if they dont want to operate ....they should declare that there is no such Association !!

i recently went to the Jaspal Rana Shooting range
and here are the tarrifs

200 rs per hour

1500 per month

i forgot the per annum fee but LIFE TIME MEMBERSHIP is 20,000 rs

plus equipment looks good but range doesnt impress me much... nothing like we saw on tv

and they provide the ammo as 1rs/5rs/10rs per bullet

They have Tie up with University of Petroleum and energy studies Bidholi .... so the student concession goes to 50%of membership fee.

I think the annual membershipis abt Rs 7500 pm if it hasnt changed.doon institiute of shooting and sports is cheaper though i dont know about its registeration status( i mean if one has to get an airgun across from the customs)

Bad thing is district administration doesn't recognize training certificate issued by Uttrakhand rifle association for issuance of firearm licence.
