Sandeep: It has been a few years -- a little bit of work and my Harley would be ready for the road. If your club allows some off-brand stuff, I would like to go on a ride with the club when you go to that Kodaikanal place that others were talking about -- that looks like it would be a great ride! But I'm sure there's lots of places to go and I'm not picky.

They are selling Enfields here. They are not cheap, but a friend in Santa Fe was telling me about the dealer there and said that there is some interest in them.

But if there's going to be a club for the Enfields Jonah mentioned, I'd like to join that one, also. (2A chapter for me, thanks!)

edited to add: I'm up for a cigar club, too!!

sounds good but there is already many clubs for enfield. try out www.royalenfield.com
other major problem is that ifg are based in different states and getting to meet up is going to be difficult. unless you can find some in your area. and i do not think that its what igf is for anyway, next we can have beer drinking club, mud rustling club, for rusty and me a cigar club now that i can go for.

so sorry to disagree with this one.

Sandeep, count me in; however, any rottweiler owners around? We then may name the club as R&R (the Rolls Royce among motorcycle clubs?).

I also agree with nagarifle, we should keep this forum for our main purpose RKBA and gun related activities. It appears rather than moving towards our goal, we seem to be loosing focus and drifting away.

That's because nothing else is happening; if things moved in the right direction, people wouldn't have been looking for alternatives. At least, we can arrange for an annual IFG meet, like they do it in UK.

Yes I also support the idea of annual IFG meet, which help RKBA get media coverage. Since India is a large country, we can have regional IFG meets, they can get required media coverage at local as well as all India level.

500-s are good only if you get have an access to the replacement flanges; I'm more than happy with my 1974 defence model. :D

UCE aka Unit Construction Engined(no seperate gearbox and no more seperate oils for clutch and engine) Electras are the future.no more thumps.Heck ,It is rumoured that 350cc bullet classic may come to India as well.Fuel Injection Bullets are already available in phoren as many knows.
check : http://bulletclassic.com too.

Bullet Standard Production is ending this year I read elsewhere. So ,a brand new bullet owner will be the proud owner of a world classic ending its production of the same model after 60 years.

Aluminium AVL Engines are definitely reliable;but noisy as well?but LB-500 sure packs loads of torques.but again faces the "legendary" build-quality of Indian Bullets. :D
