Tough question : How much you had to spend for getting your licence ?

Post by eternalme » Sat Feb 23, 2019 8:47 am

Accept it folks we live in a country where police and systems are corrupt. No wonder a SUV laden with so much RDX reaches the same road where a convoy is. Whereas its everyday routine for police escorts to clear roads and give cold soul chilling stares to everyone who even looks at the road while they are escorting someone not so VIP.

Let's find out what it takes to get an arms licence in this country.
I have to already shell out 1.5 for police at chowki. 5 more are expected so that I get clearance from tahsildaar, amin. Lekhpal etc .

This doesn't include the newly introduced arms training fees to be paid for having a certificate from armour.
(I have only applied, haven't got any licence yet)

Hope to see some interesting numbers provided this post lives long enough.

Assuming you paid only 1.5 k at police chowki , the things are going economical . A general estimate of the cost of buying an arms licence in Madhya Pradesh has been - the cost of the weapon you are going to own. Say , if you want to own a 12 bore shotgun that generally costs 30 k so the price of your are license is going to be around 30k.

1 bore=1 license
If need more then 5+5+2 ok no problem doing collection license and all civil WEAPONs WITH NO LIMIT!

Cartridge buy PER DAY 1000! for all bore! Own and keep cartridges in home NO LIMIT!

License FEDERAL Standart and valid in all region Russian Federation (No local license)

NO PB (for long barrel) - legal absolute all in all calibers (only one rule total shooting length 800 mm,barrel and receiver not less than 500 mm (dont care barrel length 150mm 200mm 300mm)

Renewal license in 5 years!

Price to license: new license 30,58 USD ,renewal 7,65 USD
medical documents 30-50 usd and courses for new gun owners 100-200 usd

New form federal weapon permit looks like this 1 card = 1 weapon

Russia escaped from the devastations of human rabies called liberalism . As much a society falls in clutches of liberalism + Islamic radicalism , the chances of survival of individual liberty are remote

Update : An advocate informed that getting reports from tahseel etc costs somewhere about 10k.
So this is what takes place -
An ignorant citizen applies for arms licence ,the file is sent to police for verification and to lekhpal for verification. So two routes where money will be required in order for the file to travel to CO and DM.
Final authority is DM and they have been granting licenses to kith n kin in the past as gift.
Not Surprisingly most of the handgun licenses are with people who know someone in administration or are themselves in administration, judiciery or police.

Here too its coming something like 20 without guarantee, everyone takes money and says the file is sent .
I wish there was a guaranteed licence for money for taxpayers, I mean somewhere in india big officers did a license for vasectomy campaign , then why not pay for license campaign ?

Whoever gets offended by the harassment in paying bribe and handling license matters , does feel vasectomy of sorts afterwards

Well , the system of reservation in public offices has been in place in India for some 70 years now . That's almost one century . A little more than fifty percent public officers are from reserve categories presently . I never came across single reserve category officer who refrains from taking bribes from other SC St s or even from his own community . Evil knows no caste . I too hail from Aboriginal tribe , I have seen their corruption first hand . The SC STS posted in public offices are a caste within themselves . So you need not do rant about caste
