Importing Airsoft

Post by anakinskywalker » Thu Jan 09, 2025 3:01 am

Hi All,

I have gone through the previous forum posts and wanted to know if someone has recently been able to import an airsoft pistol/gun either via any international online retailer or carried it with them on a flight? I'm currently in the UK and was thinking if it is safe to bring my airsoft pistol (Glock 17) which is two toned coloured as per the laws here (since I don't have a UKARA number and not a UK resident), and the additional problem is I will be landing on 26th Jan at Delhi airport (heightened security everywhere). So my options are either 1) bring my current airsoft pistol to India, declare it to the airlines before departing and am happy to pay any customs if asked 2) sell my airsoft pistol here in the uk and buy another via any international online retailer that can deliver to India 3) forget everything and accept the reality :(

Carry all documents and receipts, securely store them in the weapons case with lock (check in), and declare the items to the airline you’re flying with.

You might as well take on Lord Vader. Forget it Jedi, unless your mind power is great. No point disturbing the force. You will at great peril be. :-)
