First Time Shooter

Post by Lawman » Sun Aug 26, 2007 3:54 pm

Today I fired from a firearms first time in my life. I became the life-member of or local Serampore Rifle Club and today was my first day at the range. Firstly, I was instructed how to use the rifle and then how to shoot it. I was given a .22 caliber Brno Rifle and five rounds of .22 ammunition. I fired five shots. The instructor appreciated my firing. I felt no recoil when firing the rifle. I am attaching the target paper. Please comment. Kindly remember that those five shots were fired first time in my life.

That's not bad at all if it's your first time. Many I have seen wouldn't even place all the shots in the target.Practice is the only ticket.Of course some coaching. All the best.

.22 doesn't have any recoil, that's why its nice to begin with. Nice shooting for the first time, keep on doing it.

Congratulations and welcome to shooting sports. By all standards that is a decent first time effort for the very first attempt at shooting. 25 M is quite a fair distance for a beginer.

You are hooked now.
There comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor polite, nor popular -- but one must ask, "Is it right?"
