Hello seniors,
Could you please confirm if import of .177 air pistol is allowed through post such as USPS or from Hong Kong such as HK post registered airmail ? I think I read somewhere that import of airguns is banned through post and only through courier is allowed.
Also , since pyramydair is not shipping to India , has anyone tried airgundepot ?
Thanks.

Neither PA nor Airgundepot is shipping airguns to India, though Fedex doesn't seem to have a problem accepting them (South). The message one gets at checkout on Airgun depot is "One or more items on our cart cannot be shipped to your location."

As fas as I know, as per the new IATA regulation, or whoever is governing that, air guns are not shipped via express courier. They have to come through cargo mode. No one's interested in sending small boxes via cargo mode but if you're ready to pay good amount, they can deliver stuff to you. An air pistol or air rifle would hardly weigh 2-5kg, but if you're ready to pay as per the volumetric weight, 18-20kg, they will deliver it to you.

Hi Rahul,
I have checked with pyramydair.com and as of now they do not import guns to India
So that's not possible
2nd point is that I have read at many posts that if it gets scanned by customs then surely they ask for Membership ID
However not sure for 2nd point as I am also without Membership as of now and trying to get Baretta PX4 Storm and Den Wesson some how
If God helps then it will be there with me
Just praying for help from some one

Did anyone experienced or know the how the airgun import in bhutan & nepal is?
I have a Nepalese friend and he has relatives there. And these are the nearest and cheapest to reach from my place.

Dear Bullo,
this could possibly be one option but one have to go through hell if anything looks like a gun though. some people in mizoram have FX Impact and other 1000 $ PCP's. But the source is unknown.
Regards,
Mayank
