The butt cover is to enable a bit of rise and it's lefty to suit me as am lefty ..

BSA airsporter mk2 .22 1974 with BSA 4x24 scope
The BSA manual and scope packaging were also saved by my father!

Sir, any marking about the year is missing on the rifle inside out..fully disassembled. But there is a customs marking on the stock on the butt..not very clear now but according to my father it was imported in '73 or '74.

I wanted to ask you about the break barrel rifle accuracy, never having owned one, are they as accurate as an underlever for a springer or gas piston ?
