Which websites do you purchase your scopes from?

Post by nikitagupta2106 » Tue Jun 30, 2020 9:41 pm

I have a budget of Rs 10k for a scope and thinking of buying a Discovery scope.

I'm wondering which websites do you purchase your scopes from? I see airgunbazaar and kovibazaar as an option. Any other with preferably discount coupons? :D

Go for Kovibazaar. Reliable. Good delivery, good packing.

If at all you are in a hurry then you can buy the ones available currently.

Imports from China will be expensive sooner as India is levying heavy import duties for goods coming from China. Also currently many shipments from China are stalled at Customs in various Airports all over India. These as it is has increased prices of all electronic goods by 15% to 40%.

So my personal suggestion is to buy at available rates rather than paying more later......if at all you are in a hurry and on a limited budget.

Also if you have a bigger budget buy the FFP scopes available, if not then the SFP may also suit you depending on what you shoot and at what distance.

Let us know what you have bought once you buy and also post a review of the product with pics so that our other friends on forum get additional knowledge.

This is the problem. Kovibazaar doesn't have any good scope while airgunbazaar is temporarily shutdown! Hence, I'm curious who else sells it so I can make the purchase.

Purchasing from aliexpress has crossed my mind as it's cheaper but the customs and the halting of the current shipment is making me have a second thought.

Avoid aliexpress, infact avoid importing anything from china via any channel. It will be held by customs department and you would have to go through a tedious process to get it released. Right now even shipments of industrial springs are being scrutinized and checked very strictly, you might guess how they will react to a scope!

Yeah true! Hence, I'm not purchasing from aliexpress.

I'm surprised there's no website that sells scope at the moment!

Indiamart is a wholesale market like Ebay. Not sure if they can genuinely source items.

Indiamart will suggest wholesale suppliers . Not a place to source out a scope.

Customs have just started clearing the goods blocked by them due to pressure.

So if you are at all lucky and current online sellers get their orders from customs you can expect them to post their goods on their websites and you can buy Immediately. But you need to track continuosly before the stock is over.

So Please do your homework on which scope you want, what features you want. If looking for Discovery Scopes then study their models and shortlist what suits your requirement. So the moment you see the scopes on sale again , you will be the lucky 1st to buy it.
