New PCP Pump not working - At wits end to fix it

Post by nikitagupta2106 » Sun Jul 18, 2021 2:39 pm

My friend purchased this PCP handpump online. The PX100 gun has no issues as he's been using another PCP Hand Pump.

This brand new PCP Handpump however becomes too heavy for a human to continue further after pumping 6-7 times. He has replaced the air-filter and tried loosening the joints but to no help. There's no leakage anywhere when pumping.

What could be the reason and how to fix this issue?

Try after aligning the hole on fill probe towards the fill port hole.

You will have to dismantle it completely and check all O rings in it. I had same issue and after changing the O rings and applying silicone grease , the Hill Pump 4 worked smooth . I saw a video on YouTube for the Hill Pump repair. You need to video record the disassembly process , incase you forget the steps during assembly.

If you don't have the right tools , then show it to a good gun smith in your town.

The fill probe is inserted properly and is aligned.

PS: My friend is using a friend's PCP pump (Same make and model: Keiser PCP Hand Pump: 4 stages) to fill the PX100.

Thanks. Which O rings did you change in particular?

It's brand new. None of the O rings are damaged.
