No responsible person here will recommend the use of any air gun for self defense.

First of all, you are quite likely to make someone threatening you quite mad, and your outcome will be worse than if you had nothing at all.

Secondly, you could very well get into trouble with the police by carrying it. Try going into a bank with an air gun and see how long it will be before you are spending a night locked up!

I mention this to you "just in case."

Hello Guys,

Kind of new here.

I want to import air gun (BB Gun, Co2) for Hobby.

Does any one have any experience in importing them ? Contacted one CHA , he said there is no license required to import air gun, and there is some notification regarding it, which I searched online but could not find.
I have like Pan, Aadhar and One Government Owned Shooting Club Student ID.

Can any one help in this matter. ?

Hi Amritraj,

There are several sellers selling nearly all brands of Air Guns in India online as well as shops.

Better you buy whichever you want from these sellers. Most of them are genuine and reasonably priced.
