Sdb Artemis pellet issue!

Post by rajk_nat » Thu Oct 13, 2022 9:44 pm

Hi im a newbie to air rifling. Recently bought a precipell sting .177 PH pellets for my Artemis. While loading the pellets in the breach its very tight in fitting. Will it cause any harm to the gun or performance. Kindly help me.

Don't worry. This problem happened to me as well. SDB barrels are quite tight in the beginning, and not all pellets are made equal. Very tight pellets hinder performance, but this will get fine time. Try using G Smith pallets until then because they work great in every AR

Don't worry about the barrel or breach , but damaged skirt pellets won't give you good accuracy, so try a perfect seating pellet for SDB ARTEMIS, try JSB 10.34 gr if available

Jsb 8.44 will work best in those .....last I checked with sdb fre months back they mention they have upgraded barrels for all rifles now which take every pellet made ...

I guess then the new barrel was not introduced in Artemis model
