Minutes of EFC No. 4/08 dated 6.7.07
4th meeting of Export Facilitation Committee (EFC) was held under Chairmanship of Dr. Shyam Agarwal, Additional DGFT.
The list of officials present is annexed. (Annexure 1).
Following decisions were taken by EFC,
3.1 Technical Authorities shall expedite their comments with respect to all long pending applications.
3.2 Applications dated on or before December 2006 in which applicants are not responding needs to be disposed off by rejection, if necessary.
3.3 Pertaining to cases examined, the following decisions were taken:
(i) 53 cases for restricted item import and request of M/s. PEC Limited for issuance of import quota under TRQ for item maize was approved. (Annexure 2).
(ii) 33 cases for restricted item import were rejected (Annexure 3).
(iii) 88 cases for restricted item import were deferred for next meeting (Annexure 4).
4. Meeting ended with thanks to all participants.
