Can Gun Dealers buy & sell prohibited arms & ammunation?

I was reading the arms & ammunition act. The Form 8 (Viii) says that it allows gun dealers to buy, sell & test weapons of category 1(b), 1(c) & 3. Which pretty much includes all sorts of pistol & revolvers along with all their calibre, all sorts of semi auto & below Shotguns & Rifles along with all their calibres. If yes, then why don't we see local gun dealers with such arms & ammunition? Apart from business & financial reason, Is there something that prevents them to deal in such arms & ammunition?

Yes sir , to sell PB bore weapon and ammunition you need a different license dealing specially in that category.

Other reasons is lot of other weapons and ammunition cost is expensive. There are hardly people buying a bullet for 600 rs a single pop .

Now as more foreign companies have started making weapons for civilian market , the old imported weapons are going to loose their value more .

Gun dealers can have two types of dealer licenses.
1. Only to deal in NPB firearms.
2. To deal in NPB as well as PB firearms.

Ofcourse second one is difficult to get these days and mostly first one is issued. But there are many second ones also those were issued in good old days.

How difficult it is to get a PB Dealer License compared to getting a PB owner License?

Both are extremely difficult as both are issued by Central government.

Sir a civilain who can apply for a npb arms license they also have to losse ther shoes soal and knee grease.if they apply for a pb bore license then u guess.
