Need one clarification, in the arms rule 2016 curio means a small arm, whether double barrel rifle can come in this category.

What is the legal paperwork of curio. My father had a pistol which is 70 yr old and still on liscence. Can someone tell what is the process of declarring a endorsed weapon as curio. Will police issue us a letter for that or any separate liscence book or any official proof. How will we prove later that it is a curio and is allowed to be kept at home without liscence

If I already have a 50 year old manufactured weapon on my licence, can I get it removed from the licence and treat it as a curio? How is the age of the weapon determined?

Respected Seniors,

I have read the thread about Curio weapons on this forum. However, few points are not clear to me, like can a licensed holder purchase a Curio weapon (means 100 years old) from an arms dealer? Will it be required to be reported to police on such purchase? Will it be counted against the max limit of two weapon even if it is of different caliber/ bore then weapons permissible on license?
Requested to kindly make us enlighten please.
