Carrying these from the USA

Post by kalashnikovcult » Wed Jul 08, 2009 1:21 am

Hi Guys,
I am currently in the USA till end of July and am thinking of buying a crossman .177 air pistol and also some pepper spray, maybe 5-6 bottles, I would like to know the legal aspect if this is possible. It would be really helpful if i get some striaght answers to this.

You can bring a air gun legally...Get a better quality Airgun like HW or AA or atleast a Diana

Leave pepper spray ..you can get that in INDIA for 150 bucks..

baijee,

Look at this almost new rifle at a good price

http://www.network54.com/Forum/79574/me ... n+.177+cal.

Otherwise you can try pryamidair.com or straightshooters.com for AA and Diana

leave stun gun, IIRC they are illegal in INDIA

Search the forum, there is a thread started by me explaing everything. Issues i faced when i bought my pro-sport.

Dunno about crossman.. Fantumfan can guide you best as he is our resident crossman guru :D

But AA, HW and Diana have a better reputation than crossman'

Hi

If you have set your heart on a Crosman .177 air pistol, get a Crosman 2300T CO2 or a Crosman 1377 (if you are on a very tight budget). Once you land here you will need to produce your Air Rifle Club membership card and possibly a letter from your club sating you are a current member.

I need a favour. Can you carry Crosman Pellgun oil for me ? It comes in small tubes, I want 10 of those tubes. They cost $2 each. Need the oil desperately.

Please do consider.

Manish.

Ten years later, having taught himself to shoot with his left, he won two gold medals in the rapid-fire class.

Where are you in the US presently ? I think if you don't have Rifle Club membership then you will have to pay 30% duty. Both the Crosman pistols 2300T (note: not the 2300S which is much more expensive) and the 1377 look like target pistols so you should ideally not have trouble wit the customs. Why don't you organise for club membership and save the money ? The Crosman 2300T is under $150 and the Crosman 1377 is under $60.

I am in Mumbai. You can courier me the Pellgun tubes when you arrive in Indias. Do let me know how and when I should pay you.
