7.62 pistol

Can i get 7.62 pistol transfer from my Father in law (ex Army) ? Pistol issued by Army.

Welcome to IFG.

If it is a 7.62X25, yes, you can have it transferred provided your FIL is allowed.It is not a prohibited bore.

Since it is an NSP firearm,then it can't be done.

check the issue documents and the license see what it say on giving selling etc.

Thanks, i have checked that the 7.62 pistol is NPB, the licence issued by the local DM has no noting on it , saying it cannot be transfered .

If there is no pre-condition noted/ stamped on the license, then there shouldn't be any problem in having it transferred to your name...

Hi,

a nsp weapon, as per regulations can only be sold to someone authorised to own one....so unless u r in the armed forces too...its not allowed.
