As discussed before, I plan to launch a website, which will make it easier for novices to pick up the nuances of air pistol shooting. Here is the first video - How to Shoot a '10' - Sequence of Steps (SOS).
Please feel free to comment, all criticism will be taken constructively,in fact will be most welcomed in order to improve video quality.
Having said that, my brief dabble with film (video) making has bestowed upon me the realisation of what film makers have to go through. And so, I doff my hat in respect to the Greats - Shyam Benegal, Ray, Scorsese, et all.

A most commendable job hjv1
You have meticulously explained the entire sequence - right from mental preparation to letting off a shot.
This video should be very helpful for beginners and even those who have been shooting for a while needed a solid refresher course.

Though I am not a competitive shooter I am going to be in your classroom regularly from now on Sir.

Sirji,
Again I thank you, because the stance is the one thing that has been confounding me all along. I am also a rifle shooter but most of my pistol shooting skills are combat/defense oriented. I use the 'in between" stance just because of my neck pain! So I say your video is not only better in quality than the previous one but also your shooting advice is very much appreciated.
Thanks,
Anand

This one is edited Stance and Position.
Thanks Anand for your kind words, apart from guns we do share one other thing - Pain in the neck. (don't get me wrong brother, I can tell you how I got it and what I went through , so much so that it cut short my shooting career).

Excellent video hvj1,
Liked the sugar test :D

However since my eyesight is not so good anymore, it would have helped if the camera zoomed on your right hand.... closeup shots i.e.

Waiting for more :D

Regards

Great video hvj1,

The effects of taking a pause during a sequence of shots and the mental approach to be adopted thereon has been wonderfully explained in this video.
These rules apply even to those who shoot in the field, even if for fun.

The fundamentals have been explained in detail in this video.

Thank you :D

Dear hvj1,

Since last 10 days one surprising thing happening with me. Out of 10 shots 2 shots are going 6 or low and remaining 8 are within 9 & 10. It is happening consistently. I am not able to find reason. What could be possibility? How to come out of this?

Regards,
Kishor
