Hi all gun lovers!

Post by shiv » Wed Oct 20, 2010 7:36 pm

Hi to all from cochin, Never thought there would be so many people in India who have smiler taste n interest in every thing related to guns n shooting, really happy to find this blog, an amazing bunch of people whose language I understand! and the topics and opinion in the forums is just too good!!!

I have been around guns from the time I can remember, have shot from most all type of guns and caliber, few are .22 Rifle single shot & semi-auto, Pistol and Revolver, .32 pistol, .25 pistol, .315 Rifle, .38 Pistol, .44 Magnum Pistol, .303 Rifle and of course the 12 bore shotgun as well. had stopped shooting for some time now but have come back to the joy of shooting, my dad had at one time or the other owned all these guns except the prohibited bore guns. I have an Indian made single bore 12 gauge and a single shot bolt action BSA .22 rifle.

Planning to buy a 10-meter PCP pistol by Alfa-Proj with Air-Arms now so can start shooting at our clubs new air gun range in cochin.

Cheers and happy shooting!!!
:cheers:

Welcome to IFG, shiv. That's a nice array of calibres you've laid your hands on. :)

Do share your experiences.

Jeff Cooper advocated four basic rules of gun safety:
1) All guns are always loaded. Even if they are not, treat them as if they are.
2) Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3) Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target.
4) Identify your target, and what is behind it.

Welcome aboard Shiv. You seem to be one lucky guy to have shot that extensively. My two cents worth.......the Alfa-Proj airpistol is not very highly rated. Did quite a bit of research myself before ending up buying a IZH 46M. Try to look at other airpistols too before deciding.

Hi Guys and thanks for your posts!

I have saved a bullet each from all the different caliber of guns I have fired, will put up the pic!

@Prabhath
Yea I do agree with you, but I am looking for a PCP gun and the IZH is a Single-stroke pneumatic type.
off the PCP's available the Alfa Proj seems the best bet at that cost and am ordering this just to get the shooting touch back as our club is opening a new 10 M pistol range and my ultimate aim is for a Feinwerkbau P56!
