Greetings From the US

Post by Wojo » Sun Nov 14, 2010 8:40 am

Greetings from the US. Specially New Jersey which is just west of New York City and North of Washington DC. In my state, we have some of the most restrictive gun laws compared to most of the 'freer' states. After reading 7 pages of your Legal Eagle section, I realize we have a lot more in common beyond being the largest thriving democracies and still retain illogical British lawmaking. I am very involved with firearms and am a National Rifle Association Instructor for pistol, rifle and am certified as a Law Enforcement Tactical Shooting instructor. In most states, that would allow me extra freedom, but not in the "Peoples Republic of New Jersey".

In 2011 I will be visiting India and hoping to open a couple of offices starting with Mumbai and then New Delhi and then else where if things go well. I have been studying India's history, culture and politics over the last couple of months. The more I learn, the more I realize we have many of the same issues once you scratch the surface and look a little deeper. Some good, some not so, but all in all our two countries are the best in the free world.

I look forward to learning more and will be posting a lot of questions. Please forgive my ignorance and odd sense of humor. As I get more established in India, perhaps there will be a time where we can meet up for a pint.

Cheers,
Wojo

If you check the Firestorm website, below it will provide an overview. We are a national company in the US and I have an office in NJ. I will be getting more involved with helping to develop Business Continuity Planning, Disaster Preparedness, Terrorist Prevention planning, etc. I am working with a couple of groups like Security Watch India and the US-India Business Council. After working with several clients, they have asked about me helping their operations in India and one thing lead to another and my role is going to expand.

I am going to have a lot of questions pertaining to firearms for personal protection while working on my Business Visa.

welcome aboard. do you hunt?
You want more gun control? Use both hands!
