Well, that's relative. Some can afford them and some cannot.
I am in the latter category. I sold off many of my old knives to complete the ESEE collection and then sold off most of the ESEE collection to fund the Barkies and then sold off many Barkies....
To give you an idea and to make Dr. J even more J

I started buying knives again after a long lay off on 17th December 2011. From that day to today, I have had 12 ESEEs and 11 Barkies, not counting the GB-II. From that stash I have retained 2 ESEEs (Izula-II and 3) and 3 Barkies (Aurora, Little Creek and Golok), so I have not been such a bad boy after all.
I doubt I will hold on to the GB-II as I have never felt the need for a medium-heavy or heavy wt. chopper and the Golok is just the sort of medium wt. chopper I require. Infact, I may even cancel the order for the GB-II after the price is announced and if I feel it's on the higher side.
It's just
khujli and once scratched, it's sold to the big collectors and I look for something else to try out.
