Thanks AG,

Read your thread om Tbhp. really Awesome pics. I think best bike for these roads is Tiger 1200. Hopefully One day...

For your TB, change the rear tyre as soon as you get it, stock one is complete crap.

Even I need to be on these roads again, been to Ladakh three times but still can't get enough of it.

Keep doing it...

I am not sure if it is appropriate to share this amazing experience that I had recently; it has nothing to do with touring (at the moment), but everything to do with motorcycle nostalgia! It was sheer ecstasy, nirvana to meet this gentle giant of the 70's, up close and personal - what an experience!

This is how the tale unfolded...however, I reiterate, is this is really the thread I should be posting on? May I go on - let's check with AgentDoubleS?

Hi AgentDoubleS,
Wonderful thread you started! Lovely pics too!
Though not a 'dyed in wool' biker, I love biking....
Owned a CZ - Jawa (2.5 HP) with automatic clutch & twin exhausts way back during my college days!
'Shooting the Breeze' as we used to call those long rides - enjoyed every moment of it....
BTW - does your wife ride the bike too?

Hello Gentlemen,

My apologies for the long delay in posting. Below are some pictures from a new project I've recently been engaged with a complete, frame-off restoration of a 1981 Honda CB 750F Super Sport. The original speedometer shows a genuine 35,5++ km.

The project was completed too late in the season to enjoy the full extent of the bright summer months this year. I'm storing the bike away for the winter now, but it's been a blast riding it around British Columbia. I'm looking forward to 2020's new riding opportunities and a full riding season of which to take advantage!

Thanks, xl_target for the heads up.

I had forgotten to update permissions on Google Photos. Done now. Hopefully, the images should be visible now?

Many thanks for your comments and appreciation xl_target and Shivaji.Dasgupta.

I had a lot of fun as well as some stressful, anxious moments during the project (over seven months) however, the end result was truly gratifying! Well justified! :D
