Air Rifle Benchrest

Post by Subal das » Sat Feb 27, 2010 2:34 pm

seems like a lot of people will be interested to shoot benchrest in India and many already having scoped air rifles. Associations created all around the world: Russia, Europe, Australia, America, Middle East but still no Asian association. Rules, events, rifles requirements all defined and even International competitions conducted by post.

I'm sure this kind of shooting can become popular in India.

And where do we get required information? Also would it be open to all and what's the equipment class?

Yes, it is open for all. You need a Front Shooting rest (with or without windage top) and a rear rest bag. Most probably, this will be Light Varmint class event. Hence any scoped PCP with wide forend adapter/Guide plate should be sufficient.
